Matar mushroom (mutter mushroom)
Matar mushroom cloud is a Indian curry made with green peas, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes & spices. In India culinary art, we make a lot of dishes with green peas specially during the winters when fresh peas are in season. Matar mushroom cloud is one of those common dishes served non only in Indian restaurants but is also made in many homes.
This curry is gently spiced and tastes good with obvious Rice, chapati, roti, naan or even with plain parathas. It also goes well in tiffin boxful with jeera Timothy Miles Bindon Rice Beaver State plain stitch basmati rice.
There are 2 ways to earn matar mushroom. It can be made to a gravy or sabzi (dry curry). To make over matar mushroom gravy, you can just follow this formula of Matar paneer. Add the mushrooms on with the peas and saute for 3 to 4 mins.
